I'm a postdoctoral researcher in the Environmental Dynamics Laboratory at MIT, where I study ocean turbulence and particle transport. My current work supports understanding the efficacy of marine carbon dioxide removal and the environmental impacts of deep-sea mining. My research spans observational field campaigns using novel instruments, lab studies, and numerical modeling.
I am also a passionate decarbonization advocate and enjoy thinking about solutions for the clean energy transition.

Instructor, 2.003 Dynamics and Control I, MIT Department of Mechanical Engineering, Fall 2025. I led three weekly recitation sections and office hours for the core undergraduate dynamics subject.
Teaching Assistant, SIO 211A Ocean Waves, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Winter 2022.
Undergraduate research (UROP), MIT, 2025–present. I supervised two undergraduates developing instrumentation to measure air–water carbon dioxide fluxes, and am now mentoring a student on laboratory experiments and data processing with the RTSSV particle camera.
Environment, Health, and Safety Representative, Environmental Dynamics Laboratory, MIT, 2025–present. I coordinate laboratory safety and compliance and train undergraduate and graduate students in safe laboratory practice.
Peer Mentor, Scripps Institution of Oceanography graduate program, 2019–2022.
